Calorimetry in the determination of chemical safety parameters 20 April, 2010 Dechema Building Frankfurt am Main, Germany Chemische Sicherheitsuntersuchungen erfordern die Erhebung von Daten über den Reaktor, die beteiligten Stoffe und den Reaktionsprozess. Wichtige Stoff- und Reaktionsdaten wie Reaktionswärmen, Temperatur- und Druckanstiege erhält man durch Messungen mit Reaktionskalorimetern, die sich zudem hervorragend für Aufgaben in der Prozessentwicklung eignen. Dadurch lassen sich sicherheitsrelevante Kenngrößen wie „Adiabatische Temperaturerhöhung“ oder „Time-to-Maximum-Rate“ ableiten. Unter ungünstigen Umständen kann eine gut charakterisierte Reaktion außer Kontrolle geraten. Für diesen Fall müssen Entlastungsvorrichtungen geplant werden und es stellt sich dir Frage nach deren Dimensionierung. Entsprechende Berechnungen erforden Daten, die im Labormassstab unter Produktionsbedingungen mit Adiabatischen Kalorimetern gemessen werden können.
