BASi LC-4C detector package
BASi offers two electrochemical (EC) detector packages; one using the analog LC-4C Electrochemical Detector, and the other using the LC epsilon Electrochemical Detector.
BASi developed the first commercial electrochemical detector in 1974. Since then, through research and development, BASi EC detectors offer greatly enhanced capabilities and performance. The LC-4C is an analog detector that fits right in your existing data aquisition system. If you are working in a GxP regulated environment, the LC-4C is easily validated. The package builds upon a LC-4C EC detector, EC flow cell, an injector , and a CC-5 Compartment.
Electrochemical cells are very sensitive to stray electrical currents. The CC-5 serves as a Faraday cage to shield the cell from such currents. For optimal isolation, the injection valve, the chromatography column and the EC cell are also contained within the CC-5 Compartment. An EC detector package can be used with a standard bore or microbore analytical column. Several options allow you to optimize the system to your specific application. Further, if your application changes, BASi EC detector systems have the flexibility tochange with you.
