The CALEVA FT series complies 100% with the newest USP and EP specifications. The drum revolution is set at 25 revolutions/min. with an accuracy of ± 1min -1 . During the test, the actual speed is shown on the illuminated 4-line LC display in addition to the remaining run-time (entered individually via the numeric membrane keys in either time or total revolutions).

For loading and emptying, the USP/ EP compliant friability drums do not have to be removed. The samples are introduced via an opening, through which they are automatically removed on completion of the pre-set test duration.

For larger samples, the drum may be adjusted to the 10° position (required by USP/EP), by the switch able leg standard on any FT.

The standard serial RS 232 interface allows the user to transfer test parameters, such as test duration and nominal/actual speed to an external PC or connect a printer for hard copy documentation of the test.
